Any industrial activity is impossible without using various electric and non-electric products. The use of these products may pose significant risks in explosive atmospheres. Avoiding risks and safe work are in the interest of both the operators and the employees.
A set of requirements are specified for the manufacturers in Regulation 8/2002 (16th February) (ATEX 100a; 94/9/EC) in connection with the testing and certification of products intended for use in explosive atmospheres.
Our colleagues perform the risk assessment of equipment designed for and installed in explosive atmospheres on the basis of their special skills and expert authorisations based on which one can find if the specific product may be used and what terms must be met for the safe operation of the specific equipment and technology. Based on this, the manufacturer can make a declaration of CE-EC conformity for the electric or non-electric product intended for an explosive atmosphere.
